As one of EIA’s student-led clubs, The Husky Times aims to create a platform where the talented minds of the High School can have their voices heard. With over 20 members and more than 60 published articles, the club fosters a sense of collaboration and originality among its members. Whether you are passionate about journalism, media, design, or publication, consider being a part of our team. We hope to see you at the next club meeting!

Who is eligible to join the club?
All students of the High School department at Everest International Academy. Students from grades 9-12.

We are looking for students who are passionate about journalism, media, and design. More specifically, students who think they can successfully complete the tasks of one of the roles mentioned:

What are the category guidelines for writers?

Current Events: Written to include informative data, personal reflections, or thoughtful assessments of the situation

Features: Highlighting individuals from the EIA community whose life and wisdom we can feature, or remarkable EIA activities/school events

Student-Led Clubs: Promotion of clubs, passion projects, or student-led activities

Entertainment Article: Review of a movie, game, restaurant, app, etc.

Creative Works: Include artworks, essays, poetry, editorial, comic strips or more

Original Pitches: Any other topic the members might want to write or showcase
